Eva Be – DJ, music producer, and musician from Berlin.
The Berlin-born artist has been a key figure in Berlin’s club culture since the 1990s and has actively accompanied and shaped the electronic music scene from its early beginnings. Driven by a strong desire for musical freedom, she early on moved beyond fixed genre boundaries and conventional structures. In doing so, she developed her unmistakable style: multifaceted, deep, and constantly evolving.
Her DJ sets blend a wide range of influences into a distinctive and recognisable sonic identity that has been appreciated for many years both in Berlin and across Europe’s club scene.

Die gebürtige Berlinerin ist seit den 1990er-Jahren eine feste Größe der Berliner Clubkultur und hat die elektronische Musikszene von Beginn an intensiv begleitet und mitgeprägt. Getragen von dem Wunsch nach musikalischer Freiheit löste sie sich früh von festen Genregrenzen und konventionellen Strukturen. So entwickelte sie ihren unverwechselbaren Stil: facettenreich, tiefgehend und stets überraschend.
Ihre DJ-Sets verbinden unterschiedliche Einflüsse zu einem eigenständigen, wiedererkennbaren Klangbild, das seit vielen Jahren sowohl in der Berliner als auch in der europaweiten Clublandschaft geschätzt wird.
Story
The passion for music began in early childhood for Eva Be, who was born in East Berlin. Over the years, she developed a strong interest in producing and performing music, which naturally evolved into her own artistic path.
From the beginning of her career, Eva Be has been part of the Berlin-based Sonar Kollektiv, releasing EPs, albums, and remixes on various renowned labels. One of her most successful productions is a collaboration with Fat Freddy’s Drop vocalist Joe Dukie. The track “No Memory of Time” is featured on her highly acclaimed album “Moving Without Traveling”. Another major milestone in her career is the EP “BElight” on Poker Flat Recordings, which remained at number one in the German club charts for several weeks.
Alongside her studio work, Eva Be is an active DJ, performing in clubs throughout Berlin and across Europe, as well as live on stage with her band Eva and The Be’s. Since 1998, she has also been working as an event organizer in the music scene.
In addition, she is part of the DJ duo Bader & Bernhard and collaborates with DJ Cle (Märtini Brös) on a joint production project under the name LoYoTo .
Die Leidenschaft für Musik begann bei der in Ost-Berlin geborenen Eva Be bereits in frühester Kindheit. Im Laufe der Jahre entwickelte sie ein großes Interesse am Produzieren und Auflegen von Musik und fand so früh ihren eigenen künstlerischen Weg.
Seit Beginn ihrer Laufbahn ist Eva Be Teil des Berliner Sonar Kollektivs und veröffentlichte EPs, Alben und Remixe auf verschiedenen renommierten Labels. Eine ihrer erfolgreichsten Produktionen ist die Zusammenarbeit mit Fat Freddy’s Drop Sänger Joe Dukie. Der Song „No Memory of Time“ ist Teil ihres hochgelobten Albums „Moving Without Traveling“. Ein weiterer Meilenstein ist ihre EP „BElight“ auf Poker Flat Recordings, die sich über mehrere Wochen auf Platz 1 der deutschen Clubcharts hielt.
Neben ihrer Studioarbeit ist Eva Be als DJ in Clubs in Berlin und europaweit aktiv und trat zudem live mit ihrer Band Eva and The Be’s auf. Seit 1998 ist sie außerdem als Veranstalterin von Musikevents tätig.
Darüber hinaus ist sie Teil des DJ-Duos Bader & Bernhard sowie eines gemeinsamen Produktionsprojekts mit DJ Cle (Märtini Brös) unter dem Namen LoYoTo.
